Picture 16-4.

Like the Desire line, the City Park in its last years came to Canal Street on Royal, and left on Bourbon.  Thus it, too, came nowhere near this location near the foot of Canal Street.  When this picture was taken in the late 1940s, City Park had been running on rubber tires since January 1, 1941. — D.
