* Note — No. 75 on Desire: Originally, ST cars ran on the line (until large cars Perley Thomas 800s replaced them 6 Dec. 24).  Thus the ex-St. Charles St. RR. Co. FB&Ds of the 51-80 were those, indicated by No. 75.  Cars tended to remain on their original lines & operate out of their original barns, even after corporate title changes.  The Desire Line on Royal and Bourbon Streets built by St. Charles St. RR. Co., an extension of their Carondelet Line until the Desire Line was created in 1920, pp. 36 & 80-81 in S.
