Pictures 181 and 181.5.

Two versions of a view very similar to Picture 180.  We again see a “Palace” car in the foreground, this time on the inner lakebound track.  There is also a downbound Carondelet or Clio car crossing Canal from Carondelet into Bourbon Street.  The first picture is from a published postcard; the pelican seal in the upper right corner bears the inscription “New Orleans for New Orleans.”  The second picture lacks not only coloration, but also painted clouds and flags. — F.
