Pictures 7-18, 7-19, and 7-20.

These three photos all show car 144 at various stages of its career.  In the first, there are no window screens.  This is probably the original configuration of this car.  The second picture shows us a similar configuration, but window screens have been added to the car.  Both of these were taken at the Soldiers Home stop.  The route sign reads West English.  In the bottom photo, car 144 has been equipped with a single-letter route sign, and is signed H for Soldiers Home.  Note how the center window on the platform slides to the side to open.  We can't see the rear platform in any of these three photos.
