The “new” Canal streetcar barn (above) and its yard (below), officially known as the Service, Inspection, and Storage (SIS) Facility.  Compare the under-construction view in Picture 435, and the aerial view in Picture 436.  The steel arches over the tracks in the lower picture were salvaged from the old Canal Station car barn, when it was demolished in 1992 to make way for the A.
