Here is IT car 248 resting in the Hickory Street car barn on one of
the three center tracks, beneath the highest section of the roof.
The photo is not dated, but was taken in the late 1920s or early 1930s,
after the interurban system took the name Illinois Terminal, and
prior to the 1936 closure of the city streetcar system.
