Picture 15.5.

Here is a closer look at one of the 700-series city cars.  Car 710 is posing at the Wabash depot, as it waits for its next run, some time around 1915.  These cars were originally built without right-front doors; the doors were added about 1910 when the PAYE (Pay As You Enter) fare system was introduced.  The motorman and conductor are not identified.
